How to Use Visualization for Manifesting Success

Manifesting your dream life isn’t just about journaling, reciting affirmations, and making vision boards. It’s immersing yourself in the thoughts and feelings of already reaching your goals to help manifest them with a simple and enjoyable psychological technique that anyone can do without believing in magic, fluff, or woo. In this blog, we will discuss how visualization is one of the most effective manifestation techniques in the game, and how you can begin using it today to manifest your desires, too!

What is Visualization for Manifesting

Visualizing is using your imagination to create vivid and detailed images of your desires as if it has happened to help manifest them. Think of it as watching a movie of what you wish to manifest as if it exists that stars your future self, only you’re also the director, writer, producer, and special effects team. Hear me out.

When you visualize:

  • You clarify, organize your mind, and create a clear understanding of your goals and desires
  • You activate your subconscious to align with your goals
  • You shift your feelings and emotions to more positive ones
  • You observe opportunities and resources to help you manifest them
  • You increase your belief that you can create the desired outcome
  • You motivate yourself to take inspired action towards making your dreams exist

This isn’t magic. It’s a simple psychological hack called mental conditioning.  Make sure to read my post on how to reprogram your subconscious to manifest here.

Oue subconscious minds respond to what we imagine as being real, even if it doesn’t exist yet. When you focus on your goals as if you’ve accomplished them, overtime your subconscious mind will eventually believe that you’ve in fact accomplished them.

Your subconscious mind which is the lead department manager of your memory begins to treat what you feed it as being a familiar truth as you imagine and feel as if your goals currently exist. What feels real to us begins to show us ways to make it real. So let’s talk about how this happens, and why that benefits your manifesting ability.

Subconscious Alignment

Once your subconscious aligns with your goals, some interesting stuff happens. Not only are you more motivated and confident to make your dreams a reality, but you will start to notice ways to do so.

Your subconscious thoughts accepting what you imagine as real will cause your mind to seek out ways to make them happen called Inspired Action. You’ll notice opportunities that align with your goals such as training at work that’ll help you earn more pay. Or you may see products or a course only to help you start that business you’ve dreamed of since the Covid pandemic, but talked yourself out of.

For some, you may see signs and synchronicities such as messages of motivation that deel like they were meant for you alone, angel numbers, your dream car in traffic, or anything that simply inspires you to make it happen. While some metaphysical teachers call this the Law of Inspired Action or the blanket Law of Attraction that they blame on anything you thought about and went after succeeding, it’s simply your subconscious mind putting fire to your behind, and inspiring you to go do the thing you wish to do.

Be Your Future Self

When you take inspired action towards your goals that you visualize, your brain releases dopamine, which is a happy chemical that our bodies naturally create. Think of dopamine as being your rewards system, making you feel good when you accomplish a goal or make noticeable progress towards it. It not only boosts your motivation to accomplish your dreams, but increases your confidence in manifesting what you believe already exists in your future.

Sometimes, the toughest part about doing the work is getting over the fear and negative thoughts that we tell ourselves about how we just aren’t good enough, or how it wont work out. If that’s you, then check out my blog about How Fear Stops Our Manifestations and how to let go over negative mindsets to manifest the life you deserve. They are bangers, by the way.

When you visualize your goals, you eventually get pulled towards them by acting as if you are the person who already has it. This causes you to take more consistent steps in doing what it takes as you continue to focus on the end game. That’s helpful for a reason.

Continuing to focus on your goals as if they exist keeps you actively working towards manifesting them, which builds healthy habits to get you there. The more you do something, the more it becomes a habit. Especially since things don’t fall out of the sky, and require you to do the work needed to have them. That’s contrary to what those “you don’t have it because you didn’t believe hard enough” teachers on youtube. It requires action, and staying focused helps to keep you consistent.

How to Visualize Your Manifestations

Let’s talk about  some ways to visualize your dreams to manifest them.

  1. Set the Scene

Find a quiet place where you can be comfortable, and take deep breaths to relax. While focusing on your goals before bed is excellent for reporgramming your subconscious, don’t fall asleep on me!

  1. Get Specific

Vague goals get vague results. Instead of focusing on “I want to be successful.” try something along the lines of “I run a thriving online business that brings in $10k a month. I am confident, successful, and supported.”

While you focus on this, feel how it does to run your business.

Ask yourself:

  • What does my ideal day look like?
  • Where am I living?
  • What am I doing at work?
  • Who am I doing it with?
  • How do I feel?

If you have trouble with answering these, focus on each one and write them down. I changed my mind about my dream car 3 different times before I had a clear picture.

  1. Use All of Your Senses
The more detail you use, the more your subconscious pays attention.

Imagine:

  • The smell of candles burning in your dream home
  • The sound of waves if you’re manifesting a beach lifestyle. Pesky seagulls are optional.
  • The feeling of the keys to your new car being placed in your hands, and driving off of the dealership in it. Is it Napa leather interior your buns are sitting on?
  • The warmth of your partner’s hand while you hold it during a dinner date. If nothing looks familiar, go with the chicken tenders.
  • The vision of the days earnings from a business that you love operating on your screen

Bob Proctor said “If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hands.” Truer words were never said.

See it. Hear it. Feel it. Smell it. Taste it.

  1. Embody the feelings

This is one of my favorites. Use your emotions of what it’d feel like you to manifest your dreams because if you feel like you can have it, it removes resistance. This makes it easier to reprogram your subconscious to manifest your goals.

Feel:

  • Gratitude
  • Excitement
  • Confidence
  • Relief
  • Joy

The more positive you feel about it, the more inclined you are to consistently work towards your dreams. Fear keeps you from seeing it through because your brain can’t go after a future that it’s scared of or don’t believe in.

  1. Use Reinforcement Tools

Simply being still and envisioning your dream life can be tough for some at first. Especially if you are still figuring it out, or are afraid of your dreams because they overwhelm you and don’t seem possible. They are, by the way. Just putting that out there. Anyways.

Try immersing yourself in:

  • Vision boards
  • Guided visualization meditations on youtube
  • Writing and reciting affirmations
  • Journaling
  • Listening to binaural beats
  • Following social media accounts and watching youtube content that align with your goals. Follow that Range Rover page.
  • Saving images to your phone or setting them as your wallpaper.

  1. Make it a Habit

Two minutes a day is enough to rewire your subsconscious over the course of time. We spend way more time than that doomscrolling on instagram, tiktok and in the group chat. That little bit of time can help you see noticable results in as quick as 2-4 weeks.

Tips for Successful Visualization

These are some tips that I can share with you to help use visualization to manifest with that I had to get over:

  1. Be patient.

Manifestation is a process. Reprograming your subconscious isn’t an instant thing, despite those Universe accounts selling dreams that you can make it happen overnight. They tell you that mess for clicks. Be patient with yourself, but also be gentle.

  1. Avoid focusing on lack.

Visualize what you want and not what you fear, don’t have, or can’t do at the moment. We can manifest good AND bad. What we believe is true is the story that our subconscious adopts, and assumes is true. Focusing on scarcity manifests more of it.

  1. Celebrate your wins.
Doing this reinforces the belief that by acknowledging how far we’ve come will keep you motivated, and help you stay on the right track to manifest more wins. I’ve got a whole blog on it for you to check out here. I’ve got a blog on how to use celebrating your wins to manifest more stuff to celebrate here.

    4. Expressing gratitude.

This simple manifestation saved my life, and brought me from some jacked up places mentally. Gratitude amplifies your feelings, boosting  your subconscious properly to align with your desired goals. When you focus on more stuff to appreciate, you begin to notice more. You can’t manifest from a negative mindset.

Even when things seem to not go our way, we’ve all got something we can be appreciative of. If you struggle with it, check out my blog on how to express gratitude to boost your manifestation. I even appreciate you for making this far into my blog lol.

Visualization isn’t about pretending your life is perfect to escape how it is currently, even though it’s helpful with that. It’s about training your mind to see and feel what’s possible to help you make it possible.

Stay consistent, and know that if you have trouble with believing it’s possible, know this one thing: IF you continue to work on reprogramming your subconscious, you will eventually believe that you can make it happen. Below are some articles to help get you to the promised land.
